"Your Biggest Money Worries, Solved!"
This is an article on a website (linked at the end) which I found linked elsewhere this week. I thought it was a very interesting article and that some of you might find some useful ideas in it!
It touches on six financial worries and what you can do about them:
1. I spend too much
2. I save too little
3. I'm frustrated by high gas prices
4. I don't know how much to save for retirement
5. I need a budget
6. I need to develop a financial plan
For each problem, there are some simple solutions given and also some links to other helpful websites. I encourage you to take a look at this article and see what information would be useful for you!

To Mix or Not To Mix
As I mentioned in my introductory entry, in the early years of our marriage I learned a lot about being frugal. The area in which I learned the most would probably have to be grocery shopping. As I recall, in the early 1980’s I spent about $20.00 per week to feed Terry and myself – and even back in those days that wasn’t an awful lot of money! One big help was the food bank at our church, but the other thing that made it possible for me to do this was, I’m sure, the fact that I learned early on to cook everything from scratch and I never got into using mixes or prepared foods of any kind.

No More Mosquitoes
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.
Squirrel Away!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.

Part 2
I hope you had a chance to read Proverbs 31. I’m focusing on verses 10-31, which speak of an excellent wife. The author, King Lemuel, touches on various areas of a woman’s life:
Her relationship with her husband:

Proverbs 31 Woman
Do those words strike terror in your heart? For many women, at the very least the last chapter of Proverbs causes feelings of inferiority and discomfort. I’ve heard so many people say they gave up even trying to follow what is written there because “she’s too perfect…I could never do all that.”

I hope you've been encouraged to try baking bread. If not, maybe you'll feel like making today's recipe for your Christmas dinner. I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it makes the most delicious dinner rolls I've eaten and they are not hard to make. You can vary them by adding raisins, if you like.
Best Ever Dinner Rolls
1/4 c warm water
2 T yeast (or 2 packages)
1 T sugar
2 c milk
1/3 c butter or margarine
1/2 c sugar
1 3/4 t salt
2 eggs
7-7 1/2 c flour
Proof yeast in water with sugar. In a large bowl, combine milk, butter, sugar, salt and eggs. Stir in the yeast mixture and then add about three or four cups of flour. Stir well. Add more flour until dough is manageable and turn onto floured count ...
